Capitol Hill True Crime Tour 


Seattle was the grunge music capital of the world. It was also the home to two of the most prolific serial killers in the world. What is it about Seattle?

Explore the the historical & diverse Capitol Hill neighborhood, the scenic Madrona district with its stone walls, Madison Park & the quaint and charming houseboats in the Lake Union area. Along the way, we will visit Bruce Lee's gravesite in Lakeview Cemetery, see Kurt Cobain's former home, travel through Jimi Hendrix's boyhood neighborhood and Ted Bundy's old stomping ground.

True Crime passengers will explore some of Seattle's charming neighborhoods. The tour visits historic Capitol Hill, and the surrounding areas including Madrona, Madison Park and ends along Lake Union's houseboats. Visit Bruce Lee's grave site, Kurt Cobain's former home, Jimi Hendrix's boyhood neighborhood & Ted Bundy's old stomping ground.

The 3 hour tour is ideal for both music & True Crime buffs, with stops to explore.

The tour starts at the south end of Lake Union at 809 Fairview Place North, at the HC Henry Pier parking lot, located in front of Daniel's Broiler Restaurant. There are several parking lots in the area and the South Lake Union Streetcar stops nearby. Please allow adequate time for traffic and parking. Look for a large white van with the Private Eye logo.

Passengers will return to the departure point which is located at 809 Fairview Place North in the south Lake Union neighborhood. 

  • Wear comfortable clothing and shoes--there are several stops where you get out to explore.
  • Tours operate rain or shine.
  • Bring a camera
